Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for PolyRead AI, operated by Apparent Group Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

We want you to be completely satisfied with our Service. If you're not, we've designed a fair refund policy that protects both our customers and our business.


1. Our Refund Philosophy

  • 3. Pro-Rated Refunds

    3.1 When Pro-Rated Refunds Apply

    Pro-rated refunds are available when:

  • You request a refund after 30 days
  • You've exceeded the 50,000 character usage threshold within 30 days
  • You cancel mid-billing cycle and request a refund
  • 3.2 How Pro-Rated Refunds Are Calculated

    Formula: Refund Amount = (Remaining Days ÷ Total Days in Billing Period) × Subscription Price Example (Monthly Plan at $49/month):
  • Subscription started: December 1
  • Refund requested: December 15
  • Days used: 14
  • Days remaining: 17
  • Refund: (17 ÷ 31) × $49 = $26.87
  • Example (Yearly Plan at $468/year):
  • Subscription started: January 1
  • Refund requested: March 1
  • Days used: 59
  • Days remaining: 306
  • Refund: (306 ÷ 365) × $468 = $392.42

  • 4. Non-Refundable Items

    The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

    5. Cancellation Policy

  • Your account history and saved voices may be retained (subject to data retention policy)

  • Access to voice clones (unless downloaded)
  • Cloud storage of generated files (download before refund)

    Before requesting a refund, we recommend:

  • Download all audio files you want to keep
  • Export any voice clones if possible
  • Save any project settings or configurations

  • 10. Abuse Prevention

    10.1 Refund Abuse

    We monitor for refund abuse patterns, including:

  • Multiple accounts created to repeatedly claim refunds
  • Generating large amounts of content then requesting refunds
  • Chargebacks filed without contacting us first
  • Misrepresenting eligibility for refunds
